Classes

Class 1 will be restricted to riders who have not been placed in any dressage competition except walk and trot tests. All tests used in this class will be walk and trot only.
Class 2 is restricted to horse/rider combinations not to have been placed 1st in any dressage competition except walk and trot tests, and who have not competed in any competition affiliated to British Dressage.
Classes 3 and 4 are restricted to horse/rider combinations who have not competed in any competition affiliated to British Dressage.
Restrictions applicable at close of entries for each date. HC entries will be accepted in all classes.
ENTRY FEES: Members £5, Non-members £7
Entries close on the Monday prior to the date of competition, and will be limited. Send entries to: Mrs. E. Webber, 6 Bridge Road, Exmouth, Devon, EX8 1TE. Telephone entries will only be guaranteed when payment is received. 
Times will be available on the Thursday before the competition from www. exeequestrianclub.co.uk or from Esme on: 01395 263772 between 7pm and 9pm.

Copies of dressage tests are available from Mrs F. Lodwig, Lower Bagmores Farm, Exton, Exeter, EX3 0PJ. Exe Equestrian Club tests cost 10p each, British Dressage tests cost 40p each. Please enclose an sae.

At each event, rosettes will be awarded to 6th place in all classes. In addition, points will be awarded towards an overall league. The horse and rider combination with the most points will receive a £25 voucher, redeemable at Rollestone Feeds, Kenn. Points will be awarded as follows:

  






CLUB RULES

 The organisers accept no responsibility for injury/damage to people, property, or animals whatsoever or however caused.
 As far as possible, each event will be run under British Dressage 2009 rules.
 Hard hats, to current safety standards, must be worn when mounted. Checks may be carried out at shows
 The committee reserves the right to refuse admission, eliminate or ask to leave, anyone behaving in an unsportsman-like manner, including offensive language and excessive use of the whip which will not be tolerated.
 No entry fee refunded after the close of entries.
 Any complaints must be handed to the secretary, in writing and within 10 minutes of the class finishing, accompanied by a fee of £10, which will be refunded if the organisers decide the complaint is justified.
 The decision of the judge is final
 No Horse/Pony under 4 years to compete in a ridden class
 Correct dress must be worn in Dressage ie; Gloves & Jacket etc
 Children under 16yrs are not permitted to wear spurs unless they have a letter from their DC giving permission
 All entries must be accompanied with full fees. Cheques made payable to “Exe Equestrian Club”, with name & address on the back please
 No pre-entries accepted after the closure date under any circumstances
 All dogs must be kept on a lead
